The Underdark

Swap between the Overworld and Underdark to defeat evil goblins.

• Render issue on spawn

Wanted Improvements (Limited by Jam Scope): 

• Make my own music
• Get another/better character sprite for overworld/underdark
• Find a way to get more goblin spawns
• Add main menu/death screen
• Add score system
• Add continuous damage for goblins when colliding with the player
• Make goblins have collision with environment, potentially through a navmesh.

                                                                                                                                                                          

The Underdark was created as an entry to Dani's Basement Jam #3 (Theme was 'Linked Together'). Due to numerous compiling issues and other bugs, I went past the time limit, so I didn't actually get my game in the jam, but I still decided to fix the bugs so that I could publish my product. It was my first "finished" project, and something that I created on my own. I learned a lot in the 15 hours I used to make the game.
